In the best way possible, Ariel Shifrin is a force to be reckoned with. If you were to see Ariel do quite literally anything in a professional setting, you would know what I’m talking about. Take a look at his website; every single thing that Ariel plans to do as governor is clearly listed with a defined action plan on how to obtain each goal. Take a look at his involvement in the Midwest; Ariel has had endless experience in his chapter and state cabinets as a hidden hero, executing many tasks essential to keep the organization running behind the scenes. Take a look at his actions at conventions; he makes an effort every single time to introduce himself to all of the delegates and establish connections and relationships with almost anyone he sees. With an unmatched level of commitment to this organization, Ariel’s vision for the future is just what JSA needs.

Ariel Shifrin is not only a close friend and colleague but also the glue of Midwest JSA. One of my first memories of Ariel was hearing that he and my other friend started writing a book in third grade. An entire book. From that point on, I knew he was probably the most ambitious person I would ever meet. He has demonstrated this same ambition and dedication as the Vernon Hills High School JSA Vice President and Director of Publicity of Midwest JSA, engaging his peers and making JSA a more inclusive place. Of the many things that he has accomplished, I’d like to emphasize how he was able to create a Gender Minority Caucus as a branch off of VHHS JSA. Although he isn’t able to be part of this group, he noticed that some voices were underrepresented, took this as something that needed to be fixed, and established a concrete group of women and non-binary students dedicated to choosing inclusive resolutions, highlighting minority voices, and making JSA more accessible. This is just one example showing Ariel’s determination to improve and reshape Midwest JSA. I have been lucky to have known him since I was young, and I am more than excited to see how he will lead Midwest JSA and leave his mark for the years to come.

I have never met someone more passionate about JSA than Ariel. From his first year in JSA as a freshman, he strived to be an active member of this organization and quickly assumed leadership roles in JSA. He is a natural leader, and easily connects with others, making them feel understood and heard. He has organized, well thought out plans for the future of JSA, and I have full confidence that as Governor he would change JSA for the better. His enthusiasm and positive attitude will bring a great new energy to JSA, which is why I am so excited to endorse him! Vote Ariel for Midwest JSA’s 2022-2023 Governor!

It is my pleasure to endorse Ariel’s campaign for Midwest Governor. What impresses me the most about Ariel is his incredible ability to stay organized. I’m consistently impressed with his understanding of time management and organization of notes. His organizational skills trickle down to the rest of the team, making my peers and I more organized and on top of tasks as well. When put in such a large and overarching position as Governor, the basic necessity that sets a person up for success is simple organization. He has led our Publicity Department extremely well, and I believe he will be extremely impactful in the position of Governor. Once again, I’m so glad I’m able to give Ariel my full endorsement for his campaign!

After Fall State this year, I noticed Ariel’s hardworking spirit and charismatic personality. When he asked me to be on his campaign team, I was beyond honored, and it has been fantastic working with him and the rest of the team.
