Why I'm Running
Since joining the Publicity Department during my freshman year, I have been incredibly grateful for the opportunities this state has lent me. Cabinet has been such a meaningful experience for me, but expanding opportunities such as Cabinet, in addition to who can come to conventions, and what schools can become successful JSA chapters, is long overdue. JSA has always encouraged my growth as a speaker, leader, and person, and that support has helped me become the speaker, leader, and person I want to be.
After two years of learning the ins and outs of JSA, I took on the role of Publicity Director. With the help of my amazing department, I have been able to connect with delegates in a time when the distance between JSAers never seemed larger. We’ve held strongly onto delegate-focused initiatives, working to spotlight the individuals who make JSA what it is because it’s you, the delegates, who make participating in JSA worth it. That’s why I’m running to be the Midwest’s Governor— because I love the delegates that make up this organization and I want to continue to better it.
